I have been doing what I love, teaching, for twelve years. I’ve taught 3rd grade for the last seven years, and prior to that, I taught in a multi-age setting of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. I earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Florida State University in 1997. It’s my goal to see each child reach his or her fullest potential. When I am not teaching or doing school-related activities, I enjoy spending time with my family. I’ve been married for ten years. My husband and I have a very active, funny, adorable and bright son named Ben who is entering 2nd grade at my school, and a beautiful, sweet three year old daughter named Eva (do I sound like a proud Mommy?). We live, and I teach, in the beautiful Tampa Bay area. I hope this blog will be another avenue of communication between school and home that I value so much. Enjoy, and please let me know if there is anything you would like to see added to the blog. Thank you!
